The 2012-2013 NBA season opens in New York on Thursday night and the buzz is building around the city.
With the big game just days away, Deron Williams was a guest Friday night on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show. D-Will sat down with the NYC host to talk about the start of something big in Brooklyn.
Watch below as Deron talks about the Nets, his work with Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars and their fight against autism, as well as the video game NBA Baller Beats, which features D-Will on the cover.
Fallon, a Brooklyn Nets season ticket holder, confessed to D-Will that he will be in the house on Thursday night for the big opener and asked him about the atmosphere around the team as the Nets open their first season back in New York.
"It’s a big game for both teams, just to kick off the season, kick off the re-birth of a franchise," Deron said. "And Brooklyn is behind us, so we’re really excited about the game. I can’t wait for it to get here."
